Leeds United Training Academy – Spa

DT Sports recently completed the refurbishment of the First Team Players’ Spa at the Leeds United Training Academy. The project focused on transforming the existing wellness space into a modern recovery environment suitable for elite professional athletes.

The works involved a full upgrade of the existing spa facilities, including the refurbishment of two saunas and jacuzzis, alongside the supply and installation of multiple new ice baths to support post-training recovery and performance. The interior was significantly enhanced through the installation of new wall cladding, updated flooring, new ceilings, and modern lighting throughout the space. All works were carried out within a fully operational training academy, requiring careful planning and coordination to minimise disruption to daily activities. Despite the challenges of working in an occupied, high-performance sports environment, the project was delivered efficiently and to a high standard. The result is a refreshed, high-quality recovery space that supports the physical demands placed on professional footballers while aligning with the premium standards expected within a top-tier training facility.
