The Millichip Suite

Objective To refurbish the historic Millichip Suite at West Bromwich Albion FC, creating a modern, premium facility that reflects the club’s heritage while offering maximum versatility. The space needed to function seamlessly as a hospitality venue on matchdays and as a professional conference/events suite on non-matchdays. Strict close-season timelines required efficient delivery without compromise on quality. Solution Design Tonic delivered a stylish yet highly functional refurbishment that balances heritage with modern flexibility. Flippable, mobile tables were introduced to allow staff to quickly reconfigure layouts for different occasions. Durable finishes, carefully chosen lighting, and versatile furniture create a professional yet welcoming atmosphere. Result The scheme provides a multi-use environment which is elegant enough for hospitality dining, but adaptable for conferences, meetings, and events. Delivered on time and within budget. The completed space enhances both the matchday experience and the club’s non-matchday offering, unlocking new revenue potential and community engagement opportunities. Client Feedback Design Tonic were immaculate during the tender process. Considerate, respectful, and always on time with submissions. They delivered the ‘wow’ factor we were looking for, taking our vision and translating it into a stunning end product. Despite very strict timelines, the project was completed on time and within budget, and we are thrilled with the result. I can’t thank the team enough and look forward to working together again in the future. – West Bromwich Albion FC.
